Family Mass Invitation:
The Family Mass Team warmly invites parishioners and families to attend a special Family Mass on Sunday, 28th June 2026 at 11.30 a.m at Rathangan Church. All are most welcome.
Cleariestown Patron and Field Day:
Cleariestown Patron and Field Day will take place on Sunday July 5th. There will be prayers in Kilmannon graveyard on Saturday evening, July 4th, at 5.30pm and in Ballyconnick at 5pm, followed by Mass in Cleariestown at 6pm.
The patron Mass will be at 1.30 pm on Sunday, followed directly by the field day. This important community event is greatly enjoyed every year by all age groups and your support is greatly appreciated.
Volunteers are always needed to direct traffic, man stalls, serve teas etc. Donations of confectionary and bottles for the bottle stall are most welcome. We are appealing again this year for any UNUSED items or gifts that you may wish to put back into circulation, thereby adding to the variety of stalls on the field.
All donations can be left into the community centre before or after Mass on Saturday evening or before the patron Mass. Raffle tickets are in circulation and will be available on the field with many great prizes. A big thank you to all our generous sponsors.
Hopefully the weather will favour us once again as we remember our loved ones and as we support our local community.
Social Dance Night:
Dancing on Thursday night the 25th of June in Rathangan Hall from 9-11.30pm. Teas and sandwiches served. Admission €10. Live music on the night from Muriel O’Connor & Fran Curry. This social dance night will be a fundraiser for the church roof restoration fund.
Becky Sheil Dance is back at the National Opera House this July to present ‘Movies & Musicals’:
Take your seat and let the lights fade as we transport you into a world where movies and musicals come alive through dance. The show will be a celebration of the magic of the big screen and stage, featuring dances to some of the most popular tracks from movies & musicals such as Wicked, Tangled, Hamilton, Dream Girls, Aladdin and so on.
From the youngest stars aged three to talented adult performers, we are sure ‘Movies & Musicals’ will leave everyone in the audience dancing in their seats! Showcasing styles including jazz, tap, ballet, hip hop, and contemporary, this production is your front-row ticket to an evening of entertainment where every moment is a little bit of movie magic! Don’t miss this exciting celebration of dance at the National Opera House on Sunday July 5th!
